From Local to cloud: a new guide and Fridsee emails
Learn how to move to a shared household, use one subscription for all members and receive new invitation emails.
Three steps to shared data
A new guide with app screenshots is now available on the Fridsee website. Follow this order: activate Premium → copy Local data → enable cloud mode.
Buying a subscription does not copy inventory or switch the app to cloud mode. The guide explains household selection, import preview and synchronization checks. Local originals remain on your phone.
One subscription for the household
Premium covers all current members of that household. Each person uses their own account, accepts an invitation and selects the shared household. They do not need a separate subscription.
Enable cloud mode separately on every device. Import personal local data only when you want to add it to the shared inventory.
Clearer emails and invitations
We have refreshed account recovery emails and added the Fridsee logo. New household invitations are also delivered by email, with instructions for accepting them in the app.
You can check invitations in the app under Households → Invitations. Sign in using the email address that received the invitation.
