Fridsee for business is now available

Fridsee now has a dedicated area for producers, shops and retail chains. Manage product information, submit receipts and help customers add their purchases to their food inventory.

Two panels, one shared goal

The “For business” section is now available in the fridsee.com menu. It brings together tools for businesses that want to connect food information with their customers’ everyday purchases. Producers and sellers have separate panels tailored to their roles.

For producers: your product catalogue in one place

The producer panel lets you create and update product records, from names, brands and EAN/GTIN codes to ingredients, allergens, nutrition information and storage guidance. Add products individually or import CSV and JSON files, map fields and check the data before confirming. An API is also available to update the catalogue from your own system.

Active products with valid EAN codes can enrich the preview of purchases received by a customer. A company catalogue is not automatically published in the global product search.

For sellers: receipts from the panel or your own system

Shops and retail chains can submit receipts through the API or upload JSON files in the seller panel. The process includes field mapping, an item preview, error checks and duplicate detection. The panel also provides submission history and integration key management.

A receipt can be shared with a customer through a one-time claim link. An integration can also support future purchases after the customer separately connects their account to the shop or retail chain and gives consent.

Customers decide what enters their inventory

Received purchases first appear in a private preview. Customers check the items and confirm which products to add to their inventory. They can also stop receiving future purchases from a connected shop or retail chain. Synchronized household inventory still requires Premium.

Getting started

Visit “For business”, choose the producer or seller panel and register your company. After confirming your email address, you can start working with your catalogue or receipts. The page also includes Fridsee QR label resources and a partnership proposal for retail chains.
