Add products to Fridsee by voice
We have released a version of Fridsee with voice input for products. Say what you want to add to your inventory, review the recognized details and confirm.
Less typing after shopping
Describe a product aloud instead of entering every detail manually. Fridsee helps fill in its name, quantity, unit, expiry date and storage location based on what you say.
Speak, review and add
Choose “Add by voice” in the product form and allow microphone access. For example, say “milk one liter, expires tomorrow”. Review the form, fill in any missing information and correct it if needed. The product is saved only when you confirm.
Several products in one session
The bulk voice option lets you prepare a list of products to review together. Before saving them to your inventory, you can edit individual items or remove them from the list. It is a convenient way to record a larger shopping trip.
Start with an update
Update Fridsee to the latest available version and try voice input. Speech recognition depends on your phone’s services and settings and may require internet access. Always check recognized quantities and dates before saving.
